Thank you for joining us today for The Healthy Christian with Rich Stocks.  James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift comes down from above from the Father of Lights.  We are proclaiming God and His Word as the OneSource of Spiritual, Physical, and Financial Well-Being.

Rich Stocks is an author, businessman, and experienced Bible teacher. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and grew up in a Christian home. At the age of 19, Rich heard the Word of Faith teaching for the first time and became hungry to know more about the Word of God and walking by faith. He began to read and listen to teaching material every spare moment he could find. He also received the baptism with the Holy Spirit and spoke with other tongues for the first time during this season. Within just a few weeks, Rich was invited to speak at a small church. Since then, the Lord has allowed him to teach the Word of God by radio, TV, to business groups, Bible schools and in churches in the U.S., Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines. Rich has TV broadcast called The Healthy Christian that airs throughout the continent of Africa. 

Rich has had a great interest in health, healing, and longevity since early childhood. In addition to teaching on these topics from the Bible, he also became involved in the wellness industry in 1997 and has spent the last 25-years helping people regain and maintain their health by teaching both Biblical principles and practical strategies for healthy living. 

Although he embraced the Biblical prosperity message, Rich recalls many financial struggles early on. When he was told he could begin his wellness business with just six dollars, he was so broke, it took a few days just to come up the money to get started. The Lord helped him learn and apply the Biblical principles of prosperity, and Rich’s business quickly grew into a successful national and international business. 

Rich’s business allowed him the time and the resources to attend, and graduate from, Rhema Bible College. He then went back to college (Central Methodist University) and completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology that he began working on while still in high school. 

Rich and his entire family had the privilege of living in Australia for a year during 2003 greatly enjoying the time they spent there. 

Today Rich resides in Branson, Missouri.
